The Eugene Schmuck Foundation held a fun 2023 Manzanita Open golf tournament for the 24th time, 35th tournament in its history. The sunshine was back this year and although the wind came too, it was sure pleasant with only a bit of mist on Sunday morning.
We would like to thank all the volunteers, sponsors, and players that were eager to take part this year. You are all valued and make this event what it is! Lots of help was on hand to serve burgers, hot dogs, breakfast burritos, smoothies, and all sorts of cold beverages. Many people hung out to eat and brag or tease about their golf games, it was a jovial event all weekend! The chipping and putting contests as well as the loaded raffle table were popular and helped raised funds for the many North Tillamook County causes we support.
